Lichens in the forests of Emmerstad

Lichens in the forests of Emmerstad

My search for the fluidity of life began in 2015. It was Inspired by the work of Indian Scientist J.C.Bose and more contemporary discouses by Evolutionary biologist Lynn Margilus, Ecologist Suzan Simrad and Biologist Merlin Sheldrake.

Inspired by how plant and fungi interact and how in turn this 'natural intelligence' may percieve humans or the possibilities of how sex and gender are expressed, I imagine and created characters and performances. These performances unfold at theatres, conference halls, pubs and other venues.

I have created different characters and performed with them. Each of these characters is fabricated and then charectarized in a manner that brings together art and academics to communicate both visually and verbally aspects of life beyond definitions.
